01 March 1988 — Honduran soldiers from the 1st Artillery Battalion observe as an AH-1 Cobra helicopter from the 17th Air Cavalry
Brigade is armed with missiles and 20mm ammunition prior to a combat run on the Camp Del Balomple Range. President Ronald Reagan mobilized U.S. exercise task force Dragon/Golden Pheasant, consisting of both the 82nd Airborne Division and the 7th Light Infantry Division, to help discourage Nicaraguan forces from entering Honduras.
