USS Peleliu (LHA 5), 13 October 2001 — 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Special Operations Capable (SOC) AH-1W Super Cobra helicopters launch from the ships flight deck. Peleliu and her embarked MEU are conducting events in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
