USS Duluth (LPD 6), 19 April 2005 — An AH-1 Cobra finishes being refueled on the flight deck of USS Duluth (LPD 6) during routine flight operations in the Strait of Hormuz. The Cobra is attached to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron165 (HMM 165) 'Reinforced' with 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) 15 Aviation Combat Element. Duluth is currently transiting through the Strait of Hormuz, signifying the end of their deployment to the Arabian Gulf and the last leg of it's final underway period as a commissioned Navy vessel. Upon completion of the cruise Duluth is scheduled to be decommissioned ending a 39-year life cycle as a United States Ship. USS Duluth is part of Expeditionary Strike Group Five based in San Diego, California.
