USS Essex (LHD 2), 21 January 2006 — Two AH-1W Super Cobras and a UH-1N Huey with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced) conduct deck landing qualifications aboard the USS Essex (LHD 2). The squadron is currently serving as the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit based in Okinawa, Japan.
