U.S. Navy HH-60 Seahawks

At sea aboard USS Shreveport, 15 December 2001 — Two HH-60H Seahawk helicopters from the "Dragon Slayers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron One One (HS-11), embarked in USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), lift off from the flight deck of USS Shreveport (LPD 12) during an interdiction exercise. The helos, carrying Navy SEALs, are simulating the boarding of a ship that may be carrying suspected terrorists. Shreveport, Theodore Roosevelt, the Dragon Slayers and SEALs are supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
