USS Kearsarge, 02 May 2001 — UH-1N helicopters wait to take off as AH-1W Cobra helicopters circle the USS Kearsarge May 2 prior to the squadron's "section tactics" rehearsal during the 24th MEU (SOC)'s Trans-Atlantic journey to begin a six-month deployment in the Mediterranean.
