CH-46D Sea Knights
At sea with USS Carl Vinson (CVN
70), 20 January 2003 —
Two CH-46D Sea Knights assigned to the “Gunbearers” of Helicopter
Combat Support Squadron Eleven (HC-11) transfer crates of supplies from aboard
USS Sacramento (AOE 1)
to the Carl Vinson during a vertical replenishment (VERTREP).
Carl Vinson is operating in the Southern Pacific Ocean conducting training missions in
preparation for their next scheduled deployment.
