HH-60H Seahawk

At sea aboard USS Nimitz (CVN 68), 11 January 2003 — A HH-60H Seahawk helicopter assigned to the “Indians” of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Six (HS-6) transports ordnance from USS Bridge (AOE 10) to USS Nimitz during a morning Vertical Replenishment (VERTREP). Nimitz is currently undergoing Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX) off the coast of California. COMPTUEX is a battle group exercise designed to forge the group into a cohesive fighting team. Successful completion of COMPTUEX certifies the carrier and its embarked air wing as qualified for open ocean operations.
