Central Iraq, 05 April 2003 — Members of the 101st Airborne Division deploy into a populated area in central Iraq in an attempt to occupy a city, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
