Japan Maritime Self Defense Force SH-60J
Pacific Ocean, 22 March 2006 —
A Japan Maritime Self Defense Force SH-60J helicopter carrying Commander Destroyer Squadron Nine (CDS-9), Capt. Jeff Harley, departs the flight deck of the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Lincoln, Carrier Strike and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force are currently conducting an officer exchange program as part of a Passing Exercise in the Western Pacific area of operations.
