U.S. Air Force HH-60 Pave Hawk

Kadena Air Base, Japan, 14 September 2007 — U.S. Air Force Airmen from the 33rd Rescue Squadron prepare to secure a HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter during preparation for Typhoon Nari on Kadena Air Base, Japan. The base prepared for the typhoon, which is suspected to hit the island in the evening with 45 to 65 knot gusting winds, by moving jets and equipment on the flight line to protective aircraft shelters.
