U.S. Navy MH-60S Seahawk

Atlantic Ocean, 09 January 2007 — A U.S. Navy Sailor conducts a fast roping exercise from an MH-60S Seahawk helicopter aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5) while under way in the Atlantic Ocean . Bataan is on a regularly scheduled deployment as the flagship of the Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group. The Sailor is with Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit 2, Detachment 24, based out of Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Virginia. The helicopter is assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron Two Eight.
