U.S. Navy SH-60B Seahawk
Platka, Florida, 25 March 1998 —
A U.S. Navy SH-60B Seahawk helicopter crew from Light Helicopter Anti-submarine Squadron 40 (HSL-40), NAS Mayport, plucked six stranded workers from a smoke stack 650 feet above the Platka Seminole Electric Plant in Platka, Florida. Both helicopter crew and plant workers sustained minor injuries during the rescue.
