U.S.M.C. AH-1W Sea Cobras

USS Tripoli, Indian Ocean, 15 December 1992 — A pair of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 164 (HMM-164) AH-1W Sea Cobra helicopters prepare to takeoff from the amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli (LPH-10). The Tripoli is operating off the coast of Mogadishu, Somalia, during the multinational relief effort Operation Restore Hope. Four AGM-114 Hellfire air-to-surface missiles and an M-260 2.75-inch rocket launcher are mounted on the right weapons station of the front helicopter.
