Edwards Air Force Base, California, USA, 18 September 2000 — The Air Force's first CV-22 Osprey, piloted by Maj. Tom Currie, lands at Edwards Air Force Base after a nearly six-hour flight from Texas. This Osprey, and another one scheduled to arrive by 30 September, will undergo two years of testing here.
