U.S. Navy HH-60H

The Arabian Gulf, 09 July 2000 — "Canvas 615" flies as wingman to "Canvas 612" after a training mission in the Arabian Gulf. These HH-60Hs of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Five (HS 5) are capable of tracking targets with Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) sensors and launching Hellfire missiles against surface targets. HS 5 is home ported in Jacksonville, Florida. Eisenhower and CVW-7 are currently on a six-month deployment to the Arabian Gulf in support of Operation Southern Watch.
