15 December 2003 — U.S Army Capt. William E. Kilgore runs towards a U.S. Marine Corps UH-1N Huey helicopter which had just touched down to extract him from this mountain top landing zone near the Pakistani border. The helicopter is assigned to Heavy Marine Lift Asset - 773, and is providing critical transport and resupply to troops fighting the global war on terrorism in Afghanistan.
