U.S.M.C. CH-53 Super Stallion

Urban Warrior '99, 12 March 1999 — Members of the U.S. Marine Corps 15th Heavy Guns Platoon unload from a CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter. The marines are members of the CBIRF RECON Team. Urban Warrior is an experimental effort to prepare U.S. Marines for the urban battle spaces of the 21st century. It focuses on the development of new operational concepts, tactics, techniques, procedures and technologies.
